We were honoured to come back & work on the 2021 titles.

After the positive reception to the 2020 titles, Formula 1 invited Atom Studio back to work on the 2021 version.

Based on a concept by Formula 1, 2021’s title sequence focused on the tension created as the drivers wait for the lights to start. Then, as the race starts, we switch to a series of macro shots revealing different aspects of the engine as it gets ready to move.

Atom Studio worked on all the 3D scenes and a lot of R&D was done when it comes to the mechanics of each scene.
